Young people visit a residence

Last Saturday the 18th Companion received a special visit. A team of young Christians from various associations in Salamanca came to Béjar to collaborate with our association. We visited together in the morning the residence of San Miguel. We had a wonderful time singing, talking and listening to the seniors who welcomed us with open arms.

The young people had been working on a gift that we gave to the residents and staff of San Miguel with the aim of reminding them that God awaits with open arms all those who come seeking rest.

For many of these people, loneliness is something they have to deal with every day. The gospel message brings us a lot of hope because our God became flesh, lived among us, suffered our same hardships, but lived a perfect life. He died in our place, experiencing the greatest solitude so that God would never abandon us.

It was a privilege to present Jesus as the friend who loves us, but it is a greater privilege to have him as the Savior of our souls, because this guarantees us that he will accompany us here and will be with us even beyond death.

Thank you GBU Salamanca, EnVivo Salamanca and young Volta!!
