Presentation to churches in our region

On May 1, Companion had the opportunity to present the project in Zamora within the annual meeting of the Brothers' Assemblies of Castilla y León.

We thank God for the opportunity to report on the vision God has given us of working with older people, hoping one day to have a community where we can all live in harmony and mutual care, to the glory of God.

Our objective was not only to inform about what we are doing so that other brothers can pray for us, but also to offer, whoever wants it, the possibility to come and see what Companion is and try what it means to live in a shared apartment. Likewise we want to encourage others to try to carry out this same vision where there are brothers and sisters in need and who are willing to leave their homes to care for each other with the love of the Lord.

We thank God for the opportunity and for the good reception and we hope that God will continue to work and open or close roads, according to his will. May everything be for his Glory.

Children painted some colouring pages with the title “God does not forget about you”. Someday soon we plan to give those to the elderly.
