Isabel

Isabel is gone.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever. - Psalm 23:6

From the Companion page, we want to bid farewell to our beloved sister Isabel.

Isabel left us on December 11, 2023, to go to her final home in heaven.

After more than a year of living together in the Companion residence, she is deeply missed.

Isabel was a simple, quiet, and resilient woman. She had lived a difficult life, much like many of our elderly residents. She worked until she had the strength, and when she could no longer continue, the Lord brought her to Béjar to live in a place where she could regain her spirits and health.

Isabel encountered God in Miranda del Castañar. A simple and genuine faith in Jesus, her Lord and Savior, accompanied her until the end.

We are thankful for having been witnesses to God's mercy in her life, and as we stated in the farewell tribute, we are confident that she is enjoying in the house of the Lord for all eternity.
